ABCD Opportunities
This page details any "opportunities" that have been set up on the website. "Opportunities" fall into two types - firstly opportunities placed on the site asking for help and assistance e.g. someone who is looking for a specific product or service, or someone who is trying to find a specific supplier or even a company who is looking to find a partner (as a sub-contractor) to collaborate on a contract they have to deliver. This type of "opportunity" is defined on the website as Advertise for a supplier. (see below)
Secondly, an opportunity may be placed by a company who may be looking to act as a sub-contractor and partner with another company perhaps to try and utilise some "spare" resources and/or machinery. This latter type of "opportunity" is more of an opportunity to advertise a companies capabilities and availability for collaborative working even if only for a temporary basis. This type of opportunity is defined on the website as Advertise spare capacity. (see below)

Anyone accessing the website may advertise for a supplier, but only businesses registered as users on the Business Directory of this website may respond and reply to this request from the private "MyABCD" section of the website.
Only businesses registered as users on the Business Directory of this website may advertise spare capacity, but any one accessing and viewing the Opportunities page can respond and reply to these opportunities.
These features have been made available to try and bring new business opportunities to ABCD businesses who have registered on the Business Directory and created a business "profile."
ALL SUBMISSIONS FOR INCLUSION ON THIS SECTION OF THE WEBSITE WILL BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM AT ABCD FOR "APPROVAL" PRIOR TO BEING POSTED ONTO THE WEBSITE. There will therefore be a short delay between posting the "opportunity" and it appearing on the live pages of the website.
