A petition which has appeared on the 10 Downing Street website has sparked fury among smokers using beer gardens. The petition calls for smokers to be banned from parts of the gardens, many of which have been created to accommodate smokers after the smoking ban outlawed them from smoking indoors. The petition is expected to spark debate among smokers, non-smokers and publicans alike.
